“All Creatures Great and Small”
At this our 110th Cobble Hill Fair, we look forward to a celebration of our past, recognition of today while cultivating the future!
Ours is truly a wonderful rural community and we have ever so much to be proud of. As you enjoy your day, we hope you will reflect on those that came to the Cobble Hill community over a century ago. These early settlers left successive generations with ongoing inspiration to grow and mature. Today, our rich legacy is to proudly showcase all that is good about living in a farming community as rich and diverse as South Cowichan.
Every year, Cobble Hill Fair day is good family fun and rural charm at its best. Our Fair is a showcase for our heritage, our agriculture industry and the incredible talents within our community. Best of all, it is a great opportunity to meet friends and neighbours, to share conversations about times past and to exchange thoughts and dreams for the future of our community. To each and every one of our exhibitors, we are much blessed with your talents and we greatly thank you for your participation.
Our sincere appreciation goes to our members, sponsors and community supporters who help us throughout the year. The Farmers’ Institute could not exist were not for the many, many willing hands helping with the Fair, a multitude of daily and monthly special events and ongoing grounds repair and maintenance work parties. A special thank-you to our volunteers, the Fair Committee and SCHFIAS Directors for all your hard work. You are the glue that keeps us going and your efforts are greatly appreciated!
Looking to the future, we invite and warmly welcome community participation. To find out more about us please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
